CONFIRMED: CAF President RESIGNS from his post

President of the Confederation of African Football, Mr Ahmad Ahmad has filed his letter to resign from his position as a member of the Madagascar senate, Kickgh can exclusively reveal.
 
The 57-year-old succeeded Issa Hayatou as the new head of CAF and this was paramount to his decision in quitting his role as a senior in the legislative arm of government in his nation.
 
Ahmad, who was the  President of the Madagascar Football Association tendered in his resignation at 13:45 GMT according to our outfit sources as he seek to be at the forefront of a revolutionary era in African football.
 
Mr. Ahmad has been the Vice-president of the Senate since february 2016.
