CHAN QUALIFIERS Report: Black Stars 'B' share spoils with Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou

Ghana managed to hold Burkina Faso to a two-all draw in the 2018 CHAN Qualifiers first league tie on Saturday.
Burkina Faso were held to a 2-2 stalemate by the Black Stars of Ghana at the 4th August Stadium in Ouagadougou.
The home-based senior national team of Ghana started the match on a good note as they grabbed the lead before recess.
Yusif Cabore nearly opened the score for the Burkinabe's but his powerful shot was saved by goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
Duo Gideon Waja and Winful Cobbinah distributed brilliant passes to the enforcers of the local Black Stars to frustrate the homesters.
Ghana opened the score in the quarters of the game after a penalty was awarded to them.
Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams firmly struck the ball into the back of the net in the 15th minute.
Burkina Faso squandered most of their chances and set-pieces awarded to them as the first department of game ended in a 1-0 lead in favor of Ghana.
Back from the break, Burkina Faso returned from the tunnel to pile pressure on the visitors to snatch the leveller.
Mohammed Sydney Sylla restored the parity with a brilliant finish.
Coach Kwesi Appiah's charges regained the possession of the game to restore the lead through WAFA's Gideon Waja in the 65th minute of the game.
A late strike from substitute Iliase Sawadogo ended the match in a 2-2 draw.
The return leg tie will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium next week (on Sunday).
