And the President believes the dissolution of the Football Association will help to cleanse the corrupt practices in the game.
Addressing delegates at the Ruling Party's National Delegate Congress in Koforidua, he said "the principle of accountability motivated government decision to call for police enquiry to the conduct of the then Ghana Football Association President (Kwesi Nyantakyi) as reviewed in the now famous Anas Aremeyaw Anas number 12 documentary."
He continued: "And to begin the step for the dissolution of the GFA in order to create the ground to sanitizing the administration of football in the country."
Government has constituted Two-Liaison team to ensure normalcy in Ghana Football.
