The Porcupine Warriors will meet the Rainbow boys in a two-legged match on August 26th and September 3rd at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Nana Kwame revealed that due to the Caf Confederation Cup match between Ghanaian side Aduana stars and Asec Mimosas, the proposed date (August 19, 2018) for the first-leg was changed.
"During our meeting, we realized that Aduana stars will have a match on the proposed date. In view of that, the friendly match have been moved to the following week, so that they (Aduana stars) get the needed support. We believe it wouldn't be fair if we play the match on the same day," Nana Kwame Dunkwa told Sikka FM.
"We're planning to organize a memorable game which will be remembered forever. We want the game to be competitive. We've planned to reward the best player(s) for the two legs. There will also be a trophy and price money for the winner," he added.
Hearts of Oak wrote to Kotoko for a friendly match following the current situation in the country's football.
