MATCH REPORT: Eleven Wonders 2-1 WAFA - Wonders send WAFA to relegation zone

West African Football Academy suffered their fourth straight defeat in the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Sunday evening.
 
Techiman Eleven Wonders recorded a 2-1 home victory over West African Football Academy at the Nana Ameyaw Park.
 
The home side tormented the back line of West African Football Academy in the early minutes of the game but failed to get the opener.
 
WAFA SC distributed brilliant passes to frustrate the 'Sure Wonders' lads as Charles Boateng tried his luck in the fourth minute of the game.
 
Eleven Wonders piled pressure on the visitors but Alex Asamoah and Kwaku Adu wasted most of their chances created in the first department.
 
The first half of the match ended in a scoreless draw.
 
After the break, Techiman Eleven Wonders continued mounting pressure on the Academy boys as got two quick goals.
 
Substitute Yussif Hussein grabbed the lead for the 'Sure Wonders' lads with a superb finish in the 63rd minute of the game.
 
Emmanuel Boahene doubled the lead for Techiman Eleven Wonders in the 65th minute of the match.
 
The Sogakope-based club gained possession to reduce the deficit in the 75th minute through their captain Alhassan Mohammed.
 
The match ended in a 2-1 victory in favor of Techiman Eleven Wonders.
 
WAFA currently lies fourteenth position with seven points after match-day seven of the Ghana Premier League.
