Felton Academy clinch Thomas Boakye 'Giving Back Community' tourney

Breman-based Felton Academy were crowned the champions of the 2018 Thomas Boakye 'Giving Back To Community' tournament.

Felton Academy managed to beat their arch-rivals Mountain Movers FC 1-0 in the grand finale at the Breman Town Park.

The second edition of the tourney was graced by a lot of former footballers, European-based Ghanaian players and other prominent personalities.

Last year champions, Dreams FC finished third position after whipping Livingstone United in the 3rd and 4th place game.

"As I promised in 2017, I will do my best in every year to organize this tournament to thank the people of Breman for their unflinching support in my career," Thomas Boakye of Halmstads BK said after the final game.

"The number of the participating teams will be increased whiles the duration of the tournament will also be extended."

Earlier this month, the 25-year-old donated items worth millions of cedis to the Kumasi Children's Home.

Boakye made 31 appearances with seven assists in his debut season at Swedish club Halmstads BK.
