I want to prove myself in Austria - Majeed Ashimeru

The former West African Football Academy talisman says he wants to make a mark in Austria
 
On-loan SC Austria Lustenau midfielder has insisted that he want to prove he is capable of playing at the highest level.
 
The 20-year-old signed a four-year deal with Austrian top-flight side RedBull Salzburg during the last summer transfer window.
 
The Ghana international joined second-tier side SC Austria Lustenau on a season-long loan deal after signing for RedBull Salzburg.
 
"It wasn’t a small journey to move to Austria and is a new step for me to prove myself," Ashimeru told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.
 
"The board of RedBull Salzburg took the right decision to farm me out to a second-tier side [Austria Lustenau], which is a good start for me."
 
"Am happy here and I thank God for guiding since my debut for the club. Also let me thank my fans for their unflinching support since day one and all I will say is they should keep supporting me,"
 
He has a contract with his parent club, RedBull Salzburg, which keeps him until summer 2021.
 
Ashimeru has netted one goal in his eight league appearances for SC Austria Lustenau in the ongoing season.
