Azam FC explain why Yahaya Mohammed's contract was terminated

The Tanzanian giants have revealed the reasons for parting ways with the former Ghana youth attacker.
Ghanaian striker Yahaya Mohammed's contract with Azam FC was terminated few days ago by mutual consent.
According to the club's director of information, Jaffar Iddi, his outfit parted ways with the 29-year-old due to series of injuries sustained by the Ghana international and his poor performance this season.
“Let me take this chance to inform you that Yahaya Muhamed is no longer a member of our team and he was expected to leave the country yesterday to native country Ghana,” Idd said.
He added: “Azam will surely miss the services of Muhamed who was an instrumental during the Mapinduzi Cup tournament held in Zanzibar. He was also the first player to open our team’s goal account for this season”.
“The management of Azam is now looking for Muhamed’s replacement who can come from either within or outside the country provided he is able to score goals for the term,”
Mohammed joined Azam FC on a two-year deal from Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars last season.
