Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah registered the match-winner for AFC Wimbledon in the English FA Cup on Saturday evening.

AFC Wimbledon progressed to the next round of the competition after posting a 3-2 away victory over Fleetwood Town at the Highbury Stadium.

Two quick goals from Patrick Madden and Ched Evans on the 70th and 72nd minute respectively made it a two-draw with eighteen minutes to end the match.

The 27-year-old scored the match-winner with a brilliant strike in the dying embers of the game.

He has bagged five goals in his 26 appearances for AFC Wimbledon in all competition this season.

Appiah was a member of the Black Stars that won silver medal at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations held in Equatorial Guinea.
