PREVIEW; BOLGA ALL STARS VS. ASANTE KOTOKO SC- The Porcupine Warriors on a crucifixion exercise against newcomers in Tamale.

The venue of the game between Bolga All Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been settle to the Tamale Utrecht Park in their week-six fixture in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.

Bolga All Stars is on sale and should be sold off to other suitors maybe immediately after their game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko which might shift their venue of matches to Techiman.

The greenhorns are living below the standard it is required of a Premier League side since their entrance in the top-flight league having recorded only one win after five league games.

They need to start a new page in their historical echelon of football in the club by winning their subsequent games starting with Kumasi Asante Kotoko today at the Utrecht Park in Tamale.

It will the biggest game in the history of the club as they are yet to play a club with rich heritage like Kotoko and playing the “kum apem” side will leave an indelible mark in the club’s history.

They will be capping it handsomely by trying to surprise the 24-league-champions with a win at their own background with their entire arsenal available to fire the shot against Kotoko.

With Aduana Stars winning yesterday against Inter Allies at the El Wak Sports Stadium, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be stretched by three points by the “Ogya” boys going into the game against Bolga All Stars who are on the stock market for sale.

They will be fortunate to be playing a side that have proven not to be so strong at home in the Ghana Premier League and will be looking forward to take advantage of that to close the gap between them and Aduana Stars by winning convincingly.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have had little or no problem going into away games this season winning one against Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC at the Len Clay Sports Stadium and drawing one in an unfriendly environment at the Golden City Park against Berekum Chelsea so playing Bolga All Stars in Tamale should not be a case to worry so much for Kotoko today.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has played with so much comfort and anxiety on the road this season and will not be leaving The Northerners to go scot-free but will squeeze out everything in the game to get all three points.

The team continues to exert themselves from the difficulties and unfamiliarity that came with Coach Zdravko Lugorusic’s new philosophy and ideas on the team and are gradually getting out of the deep but thin hole the system kept them in.

The “Porcupine Warrors” will push in for the best from this game to convince their teeming fans who have come to the war front with the coach and playing body on the new tactics of the club.

On the road to Tamale, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are with eight defenders including  Awal Mohammed who is joining the team for the first time this season with captain Amos Frimpong recovering from the injury he suffered on match-week-one against Liberty Professional at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Jackson Owusu continues to warm himself up for a start in the season after a yearlong injury as he made the final eighteen players together with Michael Akuffo and goalkeeper, Isaac Amoako joining the side for the first time to Tamale.
