PREVIEW: CARA vs ASANTE KOTOKO - What is predicted to be a fascinating encounter after a theatric first leg

The second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup between Kumasi Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Club Athletique Renaissance Ainglo, CARA Brazzaville of Congo is billed to be an interesting battle for both sides as the battle line is drawn for both to take on each other for a berth in the second round of the competition.
Analysing from the first leg in Kumasi, Ghana some few days ago which saw five penalties awarded within the stipulated ninety-minutes, this challenge promises to be a fascinating and a cagey one.
Club Athletique Renaissance Ainglo, CARA Brazzaville left the shores of Ghana aggrieved with a goal deficit having had their own share of a penalty awarded them which failed to score, will have all within their means to make amends to capitalize on their home strength and advantage to get the needed results to aid them gain qualification.
Scoring an enviable forty-two (42) goals in their last twenty (20) games at home in all competition, CARA should be oozing with confidence and capabilities of finding the efforts to win this game against Asante Kotoko in Congo.
From the first match in Kumasi, CARA should be a tough costumer as they exhibited glimpses of their strength and qualities especially when attacking, of which they creating some decent chances which they had two decent chances- one saved by the goalkeeper and the other a penalty kick they wasted. This means that CARA should have less to prove to Asante Kotoko that they have the mettle and wherewithal to match their opponents boot-for-boot on Wednesday as they need a win, willy-nilly if they can qualify to the next stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
That notwithstanding, Asante Kotoko exuded so much qualities at the Baba Yara few days ago in the first leg which saw them winning four genuine penalties on the day but woefully converted only one of which they enter this encounter with.
Asante Kotoko have had no luxury of competitive action locally unlike their opponents, CARA who have had at least four league games played in Congo, to test how good, prepared and ready they are in facing an herculean task against CARA, far away Congo.
With almost the same team they used in Kumasi and shall be training on the match venue later today, the "kum apem" lads should be ready to solidly man one of their old foes in Africa as they hold a valid and an important record against CARA in Africa Club Competitions.
Historically and quality wise, Asante Kotoko are head and shoulders above CARA but it will only remain to who have the mental and psychologically toughness to raze and quench down the fire that follows this game.
Arguably, it will be the match all eyes will be on in Africa judging from the dramatic scenes that were created in the first leg of this dual in Kumasi, Ghana as both clubs are expected to give out all their best to jump over this close hurdle.
