Jordan Ayew came off the bench to power Crystal Palace to victory

Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew climbed off the bench to power Crystal Palace to victory in the English FA Cup on Saturday evening.

A late goal from the Ghana international helped Crystal Palace to knockout Grimsby Town FC from the competition.

The 28-year-old replaced Jairo Riedewald on the 68th minute of the match.

He netted the only goal on the 86th minute with a powerful header from Jeffrey Schlupp's cross.

Ayew had scored two goals in his 14 appearances for Crystal Palace since joining them on loan from Swansea City last summer.
