Ghana Government provides whopping $800,000 to Normalization Committee for the Special Competition

The Government of Ghana has provided a whopping amount of money to support the Special Competition organized by the interim football governing body.

President Nana Akuffo Addo and his government has coughed up USD 800000 for the running of Normalization Committee's Special Competition.

The Normalization Committee headed by Dr. Kofi Amoah met officials from all the sixteen Ghana Premier League clubs and the forty-eight Division One League clubs on Tuesday morning

Normalization Committee PRO, Daniel Kweku Yeboah revealed the support from the government of Ghana for the running of the competition.

"We approached some cooperate bodies to support the Special Competition but it couldn't work out," Dan told Silver FM

"The government of Ghana has given USD 800,000 to Normalization Committee for the running of the competition"

The Special Competition will be launched in Accra on Friday, January 11.
