Barcelona have completed the shock loan signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng from Sassuolo until the end of the season.
The La Liga leaders will pay a £1.8million loan fee and can make the deal permanent for a further £7m.
The 31-year-old will be unveiled tomorrow at a press conference at the Nou Camp.
The club's official statement reads "FC Barcelona and US Sassuolo have arrived at an agreement for the loan of the player Kevin-Prince Boateng for the remainder of the 2018/19 season."
"The agreement includes an €8m purchase option."
He has previously played for Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth, AC Milan, Schalke 04, Eintracht Frankfurt, Las Palmas and Broussia Dortmund.
Boateng represent Ghana at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa and Brazil respectively.
