Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC in 'hot chase' to sign Ghanaian goalkeeper Kofi Mensah Featured

The Tanzanian giants have expressed interest in signing the former Ghana U20 goalkeeper ahead of their next season's campaign.


Ghanaian goalkeeper Kofi Mensah has emerged as a top transfer target for Young Africans SC for their 2020/21 season.

The 23-year-old has popped on the radar of the Green and Yellow lads following his exploits at Zambian side Power Dynamos.
The most successful club in Tanzania are interested in landing the Ghanaian international, with indications that the club is looking to bolster their goalkeeping department in preparation for next season.
“Yanga are interested in Mensah from Power Dynamos. With inconsistencies and injuries in their goalkeeping department, the club is considering making an offer for Mensah for next season,”  a close source told
Former Harambee Stars shot-stopper, Farouk Shikhalo, started few games of the recently concluded season but was relegated to the bench soon after his role in a costly blunder.
Since then, Metacha Mnata was the preferred option, making over making 19 league starts, with Shikhalo deputizing him.
Mensah left the shores of Ghana to join Power Dynamos FC after ending his stint with Ghana Premier League side Karela United.
He has capped for Ghana at the U17 level.
