Having recorded a crucial victory last Sunday in Ghana, Algerian giants ES Setif will host Asante Kotoko on Sunday, February 21, 2020 at the Stade 8 Mai 1945 in the final preliminary round of the Confederations Cup.

This is the return encounter of the CAF Confederations Cup playoff round and probably the last hurdle since the winner advances straight into the Group Stages of this year's edition.

The Black Eagles humbled Asante Kotoko by 1-2 in the first leg in Accra thanks to goals from Amoura Mohammed and Houssam Eddine Gacha who propelled them to an impressive comeback after Kwame Opoku had already given the host the lead.
With this, the Porcupine Warriors will have to score two or more at Setif and make sure they don't concede, a task which is obviously going to be a tough one.
Though Asante Kotoko have a hoodoo of never eliminating an Algerian club but are unbeaten in their last two visit in Algeria neither did they win, securing a draw against both JSM Bejaia and Ulma SC.
The team arrived in Algeria late on Saturday with 20 players headed by Coach Abdulai Gazale who has most of his key players fit and available for this encounter despite having ill preparations towards this epic clash.
Guinean national Naby Keita who missed a penalty in the first leg, has stated is not over yet and still believe they can go to Algeria to make amends and cruise into the 'Money Zone' of the competition.
