Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu has played down the views indicating Hearts of Oak have won the league after that crucial victory over their bitterest rivals Kotoko last Sunday.

The Rainbow club recorded a narrow victory over Asante Kotoko in the country's biggest league fixture at the Ohene Gyan Stadium thanks to Daniel Afriyie's second half strike which help to secure them all the points in the end.

This important triumph indicates Hearts of Oak are few inches away from breaking their trophy drought having failed to win the league in the last decade as they currently lead the league with three points.
Speaking in a post match interview, Samuel Boadu has adressed that, no one or any Hearts fan should say they have clinched the league until they finish off with their rest of matches and are declared winners.
Again, he admitted that Kotoko played really well and gave them a tougher opposition but they managed to fulfil the needful at the end of everything. He said;
"What I can say is, it wasn't an easy game. Is a big game, coming up against Kotoko is always going to be tough and Ghanaians will definitely expect good football but we were able to manage."
"Kotoko played really well and wanted to win but we were also eager and determined and in the end we won."
"No please, we haven't won the league yet. Like I always say, we take it match after match. The game against Kotoko is now a history, attention and focus on the Dwarfs game now."
The 'Rainbow' club will now travel to Cape Coast to play as guest to Ebusua Dwarfs in match-week 32 of the ongoing GPL season.
