Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko SC, Nana Yaw Amponsah draws lots of positives and strongly believe the team will bounce back despite their defeat earlier today in the United Arab Emirates.

The Porcupine Warriors have been in Dubai for some days now to continue with their preseason hoping to gel themselves very well before the commencement of the new season.

The two time African conquerors engaged themselves in a preseason friendly this morning but unfortunately lost narrowly to third-tier side Al Hilal United at the Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Stadium.
Despite the team's defeat, CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah was very pleased with their performance and is very optimistic coach Prosper Narteh Ogum will get the team back on track as quick as possible. He disclosed after the game;
"It was a good game in the first place, some of the players arrived late but if you look at how we played, it was a good exercise for the team and the technical team."
"In the second half, we played well and dominated the game but only capitalized on the chance they had but in all, we are happy with this exercise but I am confident we will get better before the season start."
The 'Kum Apem' outfit are expected back in the country after two weeks and will set their 2021/22 season ablaze with a visit to Dawu to take on Dreams FC
