Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has stated that his side has learnt a lot from their solitary 1-0 win against Wydad Athletic Club on Sunday.

According to him, he will effect some changes in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League against the Moroccan giants.

Despite their solitary win over WAC, Coach Samuel Boadu is optimistic that things will change as he has promised to issue an immediate tactical change and correct few things before they go into the second leg in Casablanca.

“Tactically I think the game was good for us because many even thought Accra Hearts of Oak cannot even get a goal against Wydad Athletic Club [WAC] but of course we wanted to score more as well,” he said at the post-match conference.

“I have learnt a lot from the yellow card I received so things will change going forward."

"I think at the moment we are lacking a defensive midfielder but Salim Adams will surely fit into that position,” he added.

Hearts of Oak will play the reverse encounter on Sunday in Casablanca as they hope to make it to the group stage since 2006.
