Kaizer Chiefs managed to inflict a painful 2-1 home defeat on Orlando Pirates in the biggest derby in South African Football dubbed ‘Soweto Derby’ at the Orlando Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs opened the score through Reeve Frosler after commencing the game on a bright note to stage an intense pressure on the hosts.
Pirates should’ve been back on level terms a minute later through a snap effort on the near side of the area by Peprah, but the Ghanaian striker fired into the side-netting.
On the 54th minute, Kwame Peprah levelled the score for Orlando Pirates after tapping in a brilliant pass from Thabang Monare.
Kaizer Chiefs eventually restored their lead just after that from a set-piece after Eric Mathoho powered home a close-range header from Dolly's corner on the 81st minute of the game.
Kaizer Chiefs have secured the bragging rights in the Soweto derby for the second time this season after defeating Orlando Pirates 2-1 at Orlando Stadium.
Peprah was substituted on the 90th minute and he was replaced by Terrence Dzvukamanja.
He has now scored six goals and provided three assists in his 21 appearances for Orlando Pirates in all competitions this season so far.
