NC Special Cup Report: Ashanti Gold SC 4-1 Aduana Stars - Miners flog 'Ogya' boys at home

The Miners lads extended their unbeaten home streak with another heavy victory over Aduana Stars on Wednesday afternoon.

Ashanti Gold SC recorded a 4-1 home win over Aduana Stars in the match-day twelve of the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
 
The Obuasi based club ended the first half in a 3-1 victory over Aduana Stars.
 
Skipper Shafiu Mumuni opened the floodgate for his side with a fine strike on the fourth minute before levelling the score by himself with an own on the 21st minute.
 
The match was halted for almost an hour after the sixteenth minute due to heavy downpour in Obuasi.
 
Shafiu Mumuni extends the lead for the homesters with two goals on the 28th minute and 42nd minute of the match.
 
After recess, Aduana Stars started the match on a good note as Yahaya Mohammed nearly reduce the deficit with a powerful drive.
 
Ashanti Gold SC continued to torment the defense of Aduana Stars which earned them another goal through Amos Kofi Nkrumah.
 
Nkrumah sealed their home victory with his strike on the 85th minute after slotting a pass from Emmanuel Owusu into the back of the net.
