Don't get carried away by the result, we've been in these situations - Amos Frimpong cautions Kotoko players

Former Asante Kotoko defender, Amos Frimpong who watched his former side play against Kano Pillars via the internet was full of praise for the porcupine warriors.

He however admonished them against being complacent and has prompted the players of how they had been eliminated at home even after getting a promising away results. 
 
Frimpong, the former skipper of the Kumasi-based outfit left the club in July to join Guinean club AS Kaloum Stars on a free transfer.
 
"I had opportunity to watch the Asante Kotoko against Kano Pillars on the internet and can say the performance of the players on the day was very high"
 
"The team that were fielded in Nigeria consisted of almost new players and has not tasted this kind of competition, the players did well by getting that scoreline"
 
"I spoke with the captain (Felix Annan) after the game, even though we did well on the day, but he would agree with me that we have been in these kinds of situations several times, we get good results away and then fumbled back at home"... Amos recalled when speaking with Kumasi based Nhyira FM.
