Sigh of relief for Kotoko as Abdul Ganiu passed fit for WAFA game

The towering centre-back has been declared fit for the Porcupine Warriors' Premier League fixture with the Sogakope based club on Wednesday.

Asante Kotoko have been handed a major boost with the return of Ismail Abdul Ganiu for their next game in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
The 24-year-old was confirmed to be available for selection after the club's medical team final test on Monday after the team's training at the Adako Jachie training complex.
He has been sidelined after sustaining Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in July 2019.
The former Karela United defender suffered the ACL injury during the club's preseason exercise ahead of their 2019 CAF Champions League campaign.
He was named in Coach Maxwell Konadu's final 20-man squad for their trip to Sogakope.
Habib Mohammed and Empem Dacosta's place in starting line up of the 'Kum Apem' lads is now under threat following their poor output in their Sunday's match with Liberty Professionals.
Ganiu has established himself as one of the best centre-back at Asante Kotoko since joining them from Karela United.
