Former Kotoko and Black Stars goalkeeper dies in US

The ex-Ghana international has been confirmed dead after battling ailment in USA.
Former Asante Kotoko and Black Stars goalkeeper Anue Kofie has passed on after battling illness in the United States of America.
 
He was an integral member of the senior national team of Ghana from 1966 to 1969.
 
Anue was affectionately called Black Cat with his qualities display in matches for his clubs and the national team
 
He played for Asante Kotoko, Great Olympics before joining American club New York Cosmos.
 
Anue died at age 79 at his residence in New Jersey after battling stroke for thirteen years.
