Former Kotoko defender Augustine Sefah joins BYFA Featured

Former Asante Kotoko right back Augustine Sefah has completed a move to join division one side Bekwai Youth Football Academy, the club has confirmed.


The experience right back agreed to remain with the club until the end of the season with an option to renew after a fruitful negotiations between the two parties and was unveiled on Tuesday and will be available for their next game. 

A club statement reads; “Welcome on board Augustine Sefah to Bekwai YOUTH Football Academy family, former Asante Kotoko player. He will be featuring in today’s game against Achiken Achiken FC.Achiken FC. At Gyamfi park.”
The 29 year old highly rated defender has been without a club since leaving the Porcupine Warriors in December 2019 and much will be anticipated from him to help with his enough experience to propel the team to the country's topflight by the end of the season.
BYFA will look to rise from the defeat they suffered at Edubiase in their last game as they prepare to host Achiken FC at Nana Gyamfi Park in week 10, a game the former Ashgold defender is likely to feature.
Bekwai Youth Football Academy are currently found 6th on the Zone two league table with 12 points having gone without a win in their last two games.
