The Ghana Football Association (GFA) earlier today paid a courtesy visit and also made some donations to injured-Tema Youth shot-stopper Christian Addai after a terrible injury

The zone three runners up narrowly edged out newly-promoted GPL side Bibiani Gold Stars by 1-0 at the Madina Astro Turf last Friday in the maiden edition of the Division one Super Cup.

The enterprising goalie had a decent game on the day and was on the verge of wrapping up his clean sheets until he sustained that horrific injury on the 83rd minute after colliding with opposition forward Andrews Baidoo.

He went through a surgery on his broken leg last Wednesday and has been accomplished successfully as he look to bounce back stronger in the course of the new season.

The Ghana FA officials were led by Mr. Mark Addo coupled with some Executive Council members who donated an undisclosed amount of money to the culprit including some other items and have wished him well with the quickest recovery to return to the pitch soon.

The Tema Youth captain after the scan and surgery is expected to remain sideline for months and is very likely he will miss the start of the 2021/22 Ghana division one league.
