The French Ligue 1 outfit has withdrawn their pursuit for the Black Stars winger due to medical issues.

Ghana international Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer's anticipated switch to OGC Nice in France is currently off due to medical concerns during an examination earlier today.

The 22-year-old had already agreed to terms with the French club over his potential switch to begin a new chapter of his career in Ligue 1.

However, the move worth €6 million has hit a stumbling block after an issue was flagged during his medical examination.

Kickgh.com sources in France also indicated that the exact nature of the medical concern has not been disclosed, but the assessment was halted after he had hit the gym as recommended by the club's medical team.

Yeboah Königsdörffer had an incredible campaign in the German Bundesliga 2, scoring 14 goals in just 19 starts for Hamburg SV last term.

The German-born Ghanaian forward, who is mostly described as one of the most talented versatile attackers in the Bundesliga II, is known for his explosive pace and ability to play anywhere across the front line.Ghana national football team tickets
