GFA EXCO member Anim Addo acquires Halifax Ladies

The Ghana Football Association Executive Council member has purchased the Women's Premier League club.
Football administrator, Samuel Anim Addo has officially acquired Tema based Women's club Halifax Ladies.
According to Joy Sports, Anim Addo, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Young Apostles FC, a Division One League club, acquired the women’s team early this month.
Also, a communique has been sent to the respective teams, notifying them that they are one body.
The report further stated that there’s a partnership in the ownership structure of Halifax which could see Valued Girls, a lower division female team, serve as a feeder club.
Anim Addo is the business manager of Ghana all-time topscorer Asamoah Gyan.
He was voted onto the Ghana Football Association Executive Council last year.
