The Takwa-based outfit have finally settled the long standing debt they owe former player Nathaniel Asamoah to avoid any sanctions in the ongoing season.

The Mauves and Yellows earlier today have announced they have paid everything to the said player having sent the confirmation of the payment to the Ghana Football Association.

The Disciplinary Committee of the GFA on 28th October, 2020 with a ruling from an Appeals Committe ordered the two time FA Cup winners to pay 40% of the transfer fee they earned from his move to Moroccan giants Raja Athletic Club in 2015.
Failure to comply with the Statues would have seen Medeama SC face sanctions like points deduction, one year transfer ban (both local and international) and others.
Due to their decision to retard on settling this debt on August 2, 2020, the club will also have to pay $3,000 totalling $15,000 to the Ghana Football Association for failing to comply with the Disciplinary Committee's earlier decision.
