The struggles of Legon Cities FC and Medeama SC continued after sharing spoils in their match-week three clash on Friday evening.

Legon Cities were held to a 0-0 draw by the Yellow and Mauves lads at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Royals made changes in their squad that got humiliated by Great Olympics last weekend as David Cudjoe and Moahmmed Suleman earned starting berth.
The match looked balanced in the first ten minutes as both sides dominated possession in the midfield with brilliant passes.
Legon Cities FC were forced to make an early substitution after former Asokwa Deportivo FC striker David Cudjoe was replaced by Cephas Doku due to injury.
Midfield gem Eric Kwakwa nearly snatched the opener for the visitors but the woodwork denied his thunderbolt free-kick on the 25th minute.
Striker Raphael Ocloo also came close to open the score for Legon Cities but his strike was saved by Eric Ofori Antwi.
The two sides failed to grab the lead as the first department of the match ended in a scoreless draw.
After the break, Medeama SC and Legon Cities FC were delightful in the second half but their upfront looked wasteful after squandering the chances created.
Coach Samuel Boadu's side managed to hold on the home side from scoring with the introduction of Ghana's all-time topscorer Asamoah Gyan on the 70th minute.
The second half was a fairly even affair although both sides lacked the killer pass and most of the efforts on target were individually made or from set pieces.
