Asante Kotoko Communications Manager, Moses Antwi Benefo has disclosed that his outfit is considering a proposal to the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to allow their supporters to the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors will be hosting Mauritanian side FC Nouadhibou in the second leg tie of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The Government of Ghana imposed ban on fans attending all sporting activities prior to the commencement of the 2020/21 season following the outbreak of Coronavirus.
"We are considering a letter to the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to allow our fans to the Stadium against FC Nouadhibou," Moses Antwi Benefo told Oyerepa FM
"We will be happy should they allow half of capacity of the Accra Sports Stadium (20,000),"
"In Mauritania, they showed us clearance from CAF because their government allowed them so we will also write to ask for that opportunity."
