The Porcupine Warriors humbled Liberty by 2-0 in matchweek 8 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium thanks to a brace from new forward Kwame Opoku.
The Brazilian import started a game for the first time since joining Kotoko and almost all the fans present at the stadium enjoyed his dazzling display assisting the second goal of the game with a fine long ball from the right side of the centre circle.
Having exhibited that output, Fabio Gama has stated he is very pleased with his performance and wish to offer better going forward.
The 28 year old also, indicated the state of pitches here might cause him havoc but he will try to adapt to it and the weather here going forward since it is somehow similar that of Brazil.
“I’m happy with my performance. This was my first start and I’m pleased but I still have to do more because I have to help the team."
"I played in Brazil and the weather is similar to Ghana. The pitches here might give me problems but for me it’s normal."
“If I have to have a good career here, then I have to adapt. I will adapt."
Asante Kotoko will travel to Sogakope to take on Academy boys WAFA in matchweek nine of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
