Electoral Commission to supervise the GHALCA Elections Featured

According to the latest reports reaching Kickgh, the Electoral Commission of Ghana are to preside over the upcoming Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Elections which is scheduled for later this month.


The Electoral Commission established in 1993, is the official entity known for organising and supervising public elections in the country having done in the last 2020 General Election.

All candidates vying for the various positions at GHALCA were taking into a successful vetting process in December last year which was headed by GFA Executive Council Member, Mr. Randy Abbey.
The main event for the upcoming GHALCA elections will have to do with the Chairmanship which will be contested by the Mr. Isaac Koomson and the incumbent, Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo- who both competed each other in 2016.
However, Vice Chairman, Mr. Alex Ackumey will have to also fight for his seat as he faces stiffer and tougher opposition from Ebusua Dwarfs CEO Mr. John Ansah who has previously served two terms on the Council and many other positions to be vied for.
The GHALCA Elections is scheduled for January 21, 2021.
