The Ghana Football Association are in serious consultations to lock down the various stadia of clubs who does not ensured all Covid-19 protocols are well observed at their venues.

The 2020/21 season initially commenced with empty stadia rule to avoid the spread of the virus but due to series of plea from stakeholders and footballers made the Government reversed it decision to allow back only 25%.

Fans started trooping to the various league centres just last week in round 9 but most clubs were spotted in videos and pictures breaching the rule of social distancing as fans sat closer to each other with majority not having their nose mask on which can easily spread the disease to thousands of people in some few minutes.
Some of the venues pictured for those happenings include Dormaa, Sogakope, Bechem, Techiman and others.
With this, the Kurt Okraku led-administration have threatened to close down all venues that will be found of violating any of the Covid-19 rules again due to the recent rise of the virus in the country.
Currently, Ghana has recorded 1,924 active cases with confirmed cases standing at 58,065 including 351 cases picked recently and sadly, 352 deaths.
