Aduana Stars captain Yahaya Mohammed has rated Hearts of Oak's Salifu Ibrahim as his best in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season over Karela United hitman Diawusie Taylor and Gladson Awako, who is currently in the camp of the Black Stars.

The 33 year old at the moment, has been sidelined due to series of injuries having netted seven goals in 17 matches for the 'Ogya' outfit — missing a huge part of the ongoing season.

The ex- Kotoko star when quizzed on who is the current best player in the ongoing league, chose Ibrahim Salifu ahead of Great Olympics skipper Gladson Awako and the league's current top scorer Diawusie Taylor.
Explaining his point, Yahaya Mohammed, 33, stated that, Ibrahim Salifu has been outstanding and consistent throughout looking at how he's become a mainstay in a big club like Hearts of Oak within a short period and how he also starred for Eleven Wonders in the first phase of the season.
"He [Salifu Ibrahim] played for Eleven Wonders and carried the team on his shoulders," Yahaya Mohammed told GoodNews FM
“When he came to Hearts of Oak, the pressure at Hearts of Oak is different from Eleven Wonders.
“They [Hearts Of Oak] are too too eager to win the cup [league] but look at how confident the guy is.
“So for me let me put it on paper, Awako [Gladson] is doing well, Diawisie [Taylor] is doing well but for me I will say Salifu [Ibrahim] is the best.”
The skillfull playmaker has been stupendous in the league this season featuring 27 times and grinding seven man of the match accolades so far and will obviously claim more going forward — winning four at Wonders and three with the 'Phobians.'
