We are going to restore Ghana's Africa glory - Opare Addo Featured

Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has reiterated with so much optimism that, they are going to restore the glory days of Ghanaian clubs in the CAF club competitions.

The Rainbow club won the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, ending their eleven year drought and will have the chance to represent the country in the continent's highest club football competition for the first time in over a decade.

Speaking to Ahomka FM in Cape Coast, Spokesperson Opare Addo has stated with so much confidence that, Hearts of Oak ain't just going to add up but will play their hearts out to restore Ghana's pedigree and also claim the lost Africa slots. He said; 
"We are going to Africa to bring back the level Ghana used to occupy. We will make everyone proud."
"Don't you think other clubs out there miss playing against Hearts because they cherish the pedigree Hearts bring to the game."
"There is no point throwing money about and bringing nothing home."
Both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko boost of five continental laurels and were a force to reckon with but gone down drastically bringing some blemishes to their past glories in previous years.
The last time a Ghanaian club won the CAF Champions League was 21 years ago when the Phobians went unbeaten  in the entire competition accomplishing a 5-2 on aggregate victory over Tunisian giants Esperance in the final.
