Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities FC gaffer, Maxwell Konadu has outlined his target for the upcoming season and also heaped praises on the entire team for their stay in the topflight.

The 48 year old was appointed mainly to help the team seek survival with just three games to draw the curtains down for the season, even when veteran Bashiru Hayford was still around.

Truth to his words, the ex- Black Stars B coach managed to avoid relegation with club just like he indicated when he was named, having pulled a great comeback to humble Eleven Wonders by 3-2 on the last day, a victory that propelled their survival.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, coach Maxwell Konadu states his target for the upcoming campaign is to make a top eight finish and will target the best four the following season and has also commended everyone at the club for their stay in the league. He said;

'Everybody at Legon Cities were involved in our relegation survival including even our drivers and cooks.'

'I signed a three year contract and my target for next season is to be in the top 8 and move to top 4 the following season.'

The Royals after recording a tedious season will look to strength their squad before the commencement of the 2021/22 season.
