Highly rated midfielder Benjamin Afutu has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Osu Children's home in Accra and his boyhood club all in the nation's capital, Accra.

The former Hearts of Oak midfield enforcer, distributed bags of rice, water, cooking oil, curtain of drinks and toiletries to the kids at the Children's who felt very elated for the great gesture shown to them.

However, the 25 year old also extended his kindness having also donated to his boyhood football friends who have also been supportive to his career right from where started to where he's reached so far.

The combative midfielder brought balance in the Hearts of Oak midfield having netted 7 goals in all competitions to propel the 'Phobians' to domestic double glory, clinching both the Premier League and FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Afutu despite his heroics last season is currently unattached after ending his stay with the capital giants and won't be part of their CAF Champions League which starts early next month.
