Black Stars head coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has handed a late call-up to two locally based players for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.

Coach Akonnor has invited Hearts of Oak defender Fatawu Mohammed and Great Olympics star Samuel Ashie Quaye for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia.
