Ghana fly to South Africa with 25 players; Jordan Ayew, Baba Rahman & FIVE others out [FULL LIST] Featured

Twenty-five (25) Players left the shores of Ghana on Saturday morning for the match-day two of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa.

The Black Stars of Ghana are making a trip to South Africa to battle out with the Bafana Bafana in an all-important FIFA World Cup qualifiers on September 6.

 
The four-time Africa Cup of Nations rulers commenced their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers campaign on a convincing note after pipping Ethiopia in the opening fixture at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday night.
 
The team will travelled without the English and German-based nationals because South Africa is placed on the COVID-19 red list of the aforementioned countries since they will have to isolate for 10 days when they return to their respective clubs.
 
The players left out due to Coronavirus traveling restrictions were Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman and Daniel Kofi Kyereh.
 
Also, Stade Rennais sensation Kamaldeen Sulemana has been recalled by his club.
 
South Africa will host Ghana in the match-day two of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the iconic FNB Stadium on Monday, 6th September 2021.
