England legend Gary Lineker amused with young chap’ Mizak Asante’s magical solo goal Featured

Former England striker Gary Lineker has joined the tall list of admirers of exciting young chap Mizak Asante following his daring solo goal in the Greater Accra Division Two League playoffs.

This was after the fifteen-year-old magical goal was shared on Twitter by Popular British daily newspaper the Guardian.


Asante scored an incredible goal when Golden Kick FC defeated Mobile Phone People in the Greater Accra Division Two League playoffs final.


Golden Kick FC won 7-6 on penalties after 1-1 draw in regulation and extra time at the prestigious Accra Sports Stadium.


Madina-based Mobile Phone People opened the scoring in the first half and were on their way to an important victory but were denied by Mizak Asante’s solo strike.


Asante, who sustained an injury in their previous game was brought on in the second half to score the equalizer for Golden Kick.


He useless and dribbled past four defenders and went round the goalkeeper before slotting in the ball into the net.


Asante’s goal has since gone viral on social media, with many discerning football fanatics calling for the strike to be nominated for the Puskas Award.


Lineker couldn’t help but shout in awe when he reacted to the goal after it was shared on Twitter by the Guardian.


The 1991 FIFA World Player of the Year bronze winner reacted to the goal by tweeting “Woah”.
