Ex- Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey lands coaching job at Cheetah FC Featured

Former Berekum Chelsea forward, Emmanuel Atukwei Clottey has secured his first managerial role, signing with lower-tier side Cheetah FC, Kickgh.com can confirm.

 

He is expected to use his rich experience whiles playing to help the young lads of the Predators in realizing their footballing dreams.

The 34-year-old has been appointed as coach of the Kasoa-based division two side ahead of the upcoming season.

 

Clottey first came to prominence on the local scene when he was top scorer in the Ghana Premier League with 14 goals in 2007.

 

In 2012, he lead Berekum Chelsea and won the top scorer gong in the CAF Champions League with 12 goals.

 

His heroics in the Champions League prompted Tunisian club, Espérance de Tunis to reach an agreement with Berekum Chelsea to sign him on a three-year contract, for a transfer fee of $1.5 million.
