Royal SC beat Top Rankers FC to clinch the ARFA Inter-District U-17 Championship; Both teams through to the Juvenile Champions League Featured

Konongo-based Royal Sporting Club emerged champions of this years Ashanti Regional Inter-District Juvenile U-17 Championship after edging out Top Rankers FC in the grand finally

The two teams had a decent campaign en route to the final but the Oranges ended up victorious with a 3-1 win in the final- a game which was honoured at the newly-built Abrepo Astro Turf on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Top Rankers FC despite missing the abscence of their head coach right from the start of the league, managed to become the only team from the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) to reach the final after they narrowly eliminated Abrempong Sports Academy with a slim 1-0 triumph in the semi final.

On the other hand, the Royals also completed a huge comeback from 3-1 down to humble Sagomens FC by 4-3 with an electrifying performance which thrilled everyone at the venue to cruise into the last two

With the final being played on the same day, Top Rankers FC went down by three goals in the opening minutes of the second half kind courtesy strikes from skipper Adamu Fatawu, Ntim Derrick and Opoku Williams which propelled the Royals to an awesome glory.
However, Top Rankers FC came really strong in the last 15 minutes with Farouk Alhassan nipping on their constant pressure to score and reduced the deficit at the death of the game.
Both Royal Sporting Club and Top Rankers FC have all advanced to the first ever Juvenile Football Champions League which will be held in the capital on December 6, 2021
