The game was an interesting and exciting one with the Oilers giving the Bibires the test they were looking for and it was the giants that had to chase for an equaliser at some point in the game.

After a goalless first half, Benab FC came really strong in the second phase to break the deadlock through youngster Kojo Gyesi but a late leveller from Alhassan Mohammed saved Berekum Chelsea from a defeat in that particular game as they further on with their short tour in Kumasi.
Both teams engaged each other in this clash to serve as a preparatory game with Berekum Chelsea missing out in action in week 5 after their game against champions Hearts of Oak got rescheduled due to their participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.
However, Benab FC after painfully and narrowly missing out qualification into the national second-tier last season, are poised with so much avidity this time to strengthen their team and also get themselves well prepared for the upcoming season.
