Hearts of Oak first choice goalkeeper, Richard Attah has apologised to their supporters after their disappointing defeat against JS Saoura in the CAF Confederations Cup playoffs.

The Rainbow Club despite winning 2-0 in the first leg, got annihilated by 4-0 last Sunday at the Stade 20 Août 1955 in Bêchar by the Eagles who have now cruised into the group stages.

The 26 year old has been the club's first choice since joining them from Elmina Sharks and played a key role in their double glory last season but missed the game yesterday due to illness.
The defeat means the 'Phobians won't have any campaign in the CAF club competitions having already been eliminated from the Champions League by Moroccan giants WAC.
Richard Attah after the game took to his official Facebook handle and wrote;
"We have made terrible mistakes that have hurt the fans that cared about us the most and we are terribly sorry.
We are deeply ashamed of our terrible performance and our actions. Please and please, we are deeply sorry." He concluded.
The 'Phobians' are expected back in the country by the close of the week to continue with the rest of their matches in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season
