The newly-elected President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu-Addo confirmed his appointment on Thursday.
He is a member of Parliament for the Atwima Mponua constituency.
He is a ranking member of the Parliamentary Select Committee for Sports.
He will be replacing Hon. Nii Lantey Vanderpuye if the vetting committee approves his nomination.
