Lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning has suggested that, the Ghana Football Association should appoint an Imam and a Pastor to serve as spiritual heads for the senior national team.

Black Stars have qualified for the mundial which will be held in Qatar later this year and are in the same group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.

The four-time African champions participated in the Kirin Cup tourney just recently in Japan after a victory over Madagascar, and a stalemate against Central African Republic in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
There've been widespread allegations of 'juju' in the Ghanaian national team in recent years.
There were reports of players bringing their own spiritualists in the camp of the Black Stars at the African cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year.
A member of the Justice Dzamefe Commission of Enquiry, Moses Foh-Amoaning, advises that, the GFA should appoint an official Imam and Pastor to avoid players bringing their own spiritualists in camp.
"As Ghanaians and for that matter Africans, we believe in spirituality and to avoid so-called juju problems at black stars camp, the management team must put in place a structure that is appointed official Pastor and Imam for the team," he told Oman FM.
"No individual should be allowed to bring their own spiritualist to the camp," he added.
