Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Accra Lions captain, Dominic Nsobila on a long term deal.

The 19-year-old midfielder moves to the Kumasi-based side for the 2022/23 season and beyond after a stupendous outing in Accra Lions' maiden topflight season.

The National U-23 enforcer joins a number of players expected to join the Porcupine Warriors after plethora of first team starters leaving for other clubs and countries.

Nsobila witnessed 33 games for the greenhorns scoring a goal and an assist out of 34 and has been in the good books of myriad clubs in penning his signature for the club.

Mudasiru Salisu has left the club for Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspor, Fabio Gama's contract has expired and has moved to the Gulf, Richmond Lamptey has been suspended from football after the Ashantigold SC and Inter Allies brouhaha.

Asante Kotoko's Africa Club campaign will require added legs in midfield to replace the gone ones and Dominic Nsobila comes in in time.
