The hugely talented midfielder has been named the 2022 CAF women's inter-club player of the year.

Ghana and Alvaldsnes IL midfield sensation Evelyn Badu has won the first-ever CAF Women's Inter-club Player of the Year.

The 19-year-old beat off competition from Mamelodi Sundowns duo Andile Dlamini and Bambanani Mbanie to clinch the prestigious accolade for the first time at the ongoing ceremony in Rabat, Morocco.
She played an instrumental role in Hasaacas Ladies' impressive campaign at the maiden edition of the CAF Women's Champions League last year.
Badu won the golden boot award in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League hosted in Egypt.
The midfielder scored 5 goals in the course of the tournament and will take the award as consolation after missing out of winning the main trophy after Hasaacas’ 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Badu was also named the player of the tournament.
She left the shores of Ghana to seal a lucrative move to Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Badu, 19, is currently the captain of the Black Princesses of Ghana that's preparing for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup slated for August in Costa Rica.
