"He was just afraid to go to Africa" - Management member reveals why Prosper Narteh resigned Featured

Patrick Osei Agyemang, Asante Kotoko management member, insists that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum was afraid to fail in the champions league that's why he resigned. 

At the end of year meeting with the board and management of Asante Kotoko, the head coach announced his decision to step down at the club amidst heated exchanges and disagreements 

The Porcupine Warriors won the Ghana Premier league in the just ended season with sixty-seven points.
 
The Ghana Premier League champions are expected to start their preseason earlier in order to prepare for the preliminary stages of the Champions league play-offs.
 
According to administrative and operations manager of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, the top hierarchy disagreed with the head coach's decision to sack ten players and recruit seventeen new players.
 
Per further reports, Dr. Ogum is owed four months salaries and the club was conspicuously missing at his Dad's one week funeral observation, something which has infuriated the gaffer.
 
CountryMan Songo insists that Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum is afraid to fail that's why he opted out of the club.
 
"You can't disrespect the Board and Management at a meeting and we will come and beg you to come back," he said on Adom TV. 
 
 "He was just afraid to go to Africa and defend the league title that he won," CountryMan Songo insisted.
